TEAM TM RACING/BERLONI RESUMES THE RACE TO THE ENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FROM PORTUGAL
After the good start of the season, crowned with splendid victory of Petri Pohjamo in the E1 class of the GP of Sweden, the Team TM RACING / BERLONI arrives for the double transfer of the GP of the Portugal and Spain, motivated, as never to be in the fight for the podium and, especially, only five points from the top of the Classification of the E1 World Championship and in fourth position in the Teams classification where TM RACING is the first Italian motorcycles manufacturer. With his factory TM EN 125, very competitive on the Swedish circuit, covered of snow and ice of the first appointment of Championship WEC 2006, Petri Pohjamo have obtained one extraordinary Victory on Saturday and the third position on Sunday. The Finn rider of the Team TM RACING / BERLONI, thanks to these two extraordinary results, have been able to go up on the podium with the second place in that class behind only to the Spanish Ivan Cervantes. Petri, World Champion 2003, has competed later in the two races of the Absolutes of Italy to Sanremo and Castiglion Fiorentino, limiting himself to test and to develop the new technical solutions prepared for its TM 125 EN in sight of this double transfer. A challenge still more interesting in how much the TM EN 125 has confirmed to Castiglion Fiorentino to be the best 125 present in that class. The double transfer of the two GP of Portugal and Spain has been prepared in the minimums details from all the technicians of Team TM RACING / BERLONI managed from Tullio Provini.
Alessio Paoli, third and second to Castiglion Fiorentino in the 250 class, is resuming himself from the dislocated shoulder suffered the week before the Tuscany race during a training section. Sure he could not be still to 100% of his possibilities, but we are sure that the strong Tuscans rider will do his best in the E3 class with the TM EN 300.
After the optimal races in the English championship, the others two riders are attended to one confirmation of their possibilities: Scottish Euan Mc Connell in the E2 class with his TM EN 450F and the Australian young rider Jakob Stapleton (vice world champion 2005) in the Junior class with his TM EN 250.

"….I fill good. I have a great bike and it is giving to me a big satisfactions in which it is very competitive on every tracks. I know that the Championship will be long, but creed that for us this season could be a lot interesting. TM RACING and our technical responsible Tullio Provini have worked hard in order to improve the bike to this level of competitiveness and in occasion of the last race of the Absolutes of Italy in Castiglion Fiorentino, we have made an other small step ahead….. "... I look forward to arrive to Guimaraes. To the Absolutes of Italy in Castiglion Fiorentino I was in a so bad physical conditions because my shoulder gave me a lot of pain. Tightening the teeth and thanks to of pain-killers, I have been able to finish the first day. Sunday has gone better carrying my TM EN 300 in second position. If all it goes as it must go, I believe that for me in the E3 class and our team could be a positive weekend. The special tests of the GP of the Portugal are not badly, are enough pleasant even if the extreme test seems very hard in that has been traced on the slope of a mountain where there are a lot of large stones. My objective is to make more points possible and to finish in the first five positions of my class....". Tony Amoriello said:
"……In this moment our Team is indeed strong. Thanks to the good results obtained to the first GP, our motivation is high and we will have to keep it higher. The Swedish GP has been revealed decidedly positive, we expected a difficult weekend on the ice and the snow, instead we have concluded with one Victory and one third position in the E1 class thanks to Pohjamo. This demonstrates that our bike is still competitive also against the new 250 4 stroke…”
