Bel-Ray TM team riders to represent Australia in the 2005

               ISDE  - Slovakia 13th – 18th September

Bel-Ray TM member Jake Stapleton, together with 2006 Bel-Ray TM team rider Darren Lloyd, have arrived in Provaska Bystrica (Slovakia) with the rest of the Australian ISDE team and are currently preparing for the 2005 edition of the International Six Days Enduro.

Jake has been selected in the very strong Australian Trophy Team and Darren will be joined by three more Aussie young guns in the Australian Junior Trophy Team.

This event will be Darren’s first competitive ride on a 250 2 stroke TM but after some serious testing in Australia before leaving for Europe he is very confident of posting a competitive performance at what is traditionally a very difficult Six Days venue.  Following his very successful 2005 season Darren will ride for Team Bel-Ray TM in all major 2006 Australian “Off Road” events.

Darren is very excited to be given the opportunity to ride a fully TM factory prepared 2006 model TM 250 Enduro in the ISDE and to be accompanying Jake to Greece and Italy, the last two rounds of the 2005 WEC, where he will be competing in the E2 class.

Jake is very determined to post a top result for the Australian Trophy Team in Slovakia where he is competing for the first time this year in the E2 class.  Then it will be off to Greece to compete in the second last round of the WEC where he is fighting to finish the Under 21 series in 2nd place.

After his worst WEC round of the year in Finland recently Jake is currently standing in 5th place on the points table for the U21 Championship.   As only 12 of the 18 individual results count for the U21 series final results,  Jake now has 3 events with no points because of injuries, he  has an excellent chance to secure 2nd place in the  series.   Jake plans to add to his fantastic record this year, 10 times on the podium from the 11 rounds he has finished, and nail 2nd place for the 2005 U21 World Enduro Championship.

Jake’s successful debut year in World Enduro Championship has only been made possible by the very much appreciated support from all the Bel-ray Team sponsors.
