The apprenticeship of Richard Larson in the saddle of the TM 250 4T continues. After the first two races with the 125, the Swede is therefore dealing with development with the aim of making it “ready to race” by the end of the 2005 season and be able to use it from the first tests in 2006.
In the E1 he ended the first day in tenth place, Sunday slightly ahead in eighth.
In the E3, instead, Alessio Paoli ended Saturday’s test in seventh place. Unfortunately, his performance was marred by three different falls in the specials.
On Saturday evening Alessio went to look again at the places where he had made these errors in order to face the next day’s test better but, unfortunately, late that night, he suffered from the tiring walk in the humid valleys around Gernika; Next morning a heavy state of flue forced the Tuscany rider to retire after some special tests.
The re-entry of Stapleton, blocked by a thoracic haematoma, is awaited for the next race programmed for the first weekend in July.
Also Roman Michalik and Petri Pohjamo will certainly take part in the fifth round of the Enduro World Championship that will take place the 2/3 of July 2005 in Czech Republic.
